Heya Nick. I been on board and in discord for a few years and am really digging into comping tracked shots like this. of course way back, we were just introducing BG plates and the pipe was a bit of a struggle but looks like its pretty capable there huh? any long form tuts on comping match moved plates, export etc? id love to see one specifically geared towards that. Ill probably be back in 20 minutes like "oh I found it" ha ha. Thanks for the good work, really coming along SO nicely. exciting times, thanks for sticking with it.##EDIT## I found the nuke Tut! ha ha, told ya

Yeah, we have a couple of tutorials on this, you can look for our "torch" tutorial too, its short and concise.

hello, i could need some help , is it possible to use an imported geometry only as an Effector und not as an Emittor. I want to manipulate an fire emittor with an imported Geometry but the Geometry himself should not burn. but rather it should effect the emittor with his geometry, i hope this was clear, my english is ugly sorry, , sadly i cant find an option like that. In Blender forexample, when you start a simulation, you can us an Geometry as an Effector inside the Domain Box. I really need this Option in Embergen. Someone can help pls ?

wonderful software , are there any plans for other kinds of simulations like water/fluids ? or maybe rigid/soft bodies ? i know this is too early and too much at the moment but i am just curious, really loved the software , the UI very much user friendly and clear

Yep, search our channel for "LiquiGen" for our future liquid tool. Destruction is planned too eventually.
@AnimeZone2472 жыл бұрын
@@jangafx i already made a comment about rigid bodies didn't know yall were already thinking about it lol. Make sure the destruction has some type of camera projection so we can match the simulation's material with the surface's material that's in the video,

How about Doing a Fire VFX with Moving Camera + Moving Object with Blender Camera and Object import in Embergen ?? Need a Tutorial !!

This fire juggling shot is done with Embergen and Nuke, but all the same principles apply to Blender: kzbin.info/www/bejne/epzFaapvqc5jl5o

Hi! Do you have a course or cool tutorial in nuke on how to match the cameramove and recreate the geometry in 3D? By the way your videos looks great continue like this !!!

@@jangafx thanks for Making this. I think the result of that tutorial didnt look very realisctic, not the simulation but how it was placed in the Environment and how the Environment reacted to the Explosion. This Shot here Looks way better, perfect integration with the footage. Congrats!
@jangafx2 жыл бұрын
@@smepable With moving cameras it is easier to have it feel more integrated if you get the tracking right. I hope we can make some tutorials on this sort of thing, but teaching the entire workflow for something like this is difficult as multiple people on our team contributed to this shot. I'm sure we'll come up with something one day though.

its normal gpu is 100% and its super slow to navigate through UI even if simulation is stopped?
@jangafx2 жыл бұрын
GPU being 100% is normal, we're squeezing every bit of power out of it we can. If the UI is slow after pausing the sim, you either have a lower end GPU or a very large sim, or your VRAM is full. What GPU do you have? This tutorial may help increase your speeds: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jXeZc2ugmtebpck

@@jangafx actually i think i have the best gpu...nvidia rtx A6000 , 114525mb memory , quite sure i had too many resolution but even now trying rescale the simulation is very annoying this UI slow like computer going to explode, i wonder same as cpu you can disable 1 core to let UI more free , if can do same with GPU ...... and other thing i just find now , i freeze the simulation , i only want a camera animation around the frozen simulation , but in the moment i export render the simulation restart.... anyways thanks for reply and amazing soft!
@jangafx2 жыл бұрын
@@marc1137 The simulation always restarts if once an export begins. And the big piece that's important for GPU's in our case is memory bandwidth. The A6000 has 768GB/s and an RTX 3090 has 936gb/s, so atleast a notable difference in performance. Upscaling can cause massive hits in performance for little gain too. Whats your simulation resolution in voxel count?
@marc11372 жыл бұрын
@@jangafx 33 million voxel start to be slow UI, so the 3090 would be better for this .... by the way any workflow about you like some shape , then frozen simulation , and want export the camera animation with that frozen shape? or kind of save state to start frame like maya
@marc11372 жыл бұрын
anyways for me the problem is not about simulation is slower when more voxel , problem is more about computer can do nothing , can not open browser , the whole computer is super slow ... i dont care embergen simulation is slower , the thing is cant use computer , so i wonder if any way to decrease gpu 10% to let computer breath even if slower simulation
