Oh man we were there in January and decided against it because of the cold and wet conditions. Now Im trying to figure out if I can get down there to do this awesome canyon in the next week or so. Great vids, I love that you show anchors and all the rappels. Helps to know what were getting into. Keep up the superb content!

Have you ever done pine creek in late March? I’m looking at taking a buddy down this weekend, with the sunny 80 degree weather. We’ll do keyhole first to gauge water temps and stuff but there’s not a lot of info on early spring descents of pine creek. Love your vids, keep it up!

We've had precipitation through the winter so there should be water in Pine Creek and it will be freezing. I'd wear a wind breaker over your wetsuit to cut the wind chill. Check if there are any recent trip reports. Have a safe trip!

Nice going..that 100 foot repel was interesting, keep on bringing it. BTW, have you done island in the sky before?

Thanks for watching! We have not done that route yet, keep planning to though.

nice trip! does anybody official check the anchors and the leashes time by time? Or is that everybodys responsibility?
@precipiceofgrind3 жыл бұрын
It's up to you to descend a canyon safely, this means inspecting every anchor/webbing before rappelling. We always carry extra webbing/ quick links in case we have to replace or build an anchor. We always carry extra rope too...sooner or later you will stick a rope. Thanks for watching!

Thats crazy to see it fully dry, neck deep when I went through. What time of year was this?

Think this was in early March a couple years back.

Do you think it's still dry? Was planning on doing it soon. I can't imagine it's gotten more water since?

I honestly have no idea, maybe check out some recent trip reports. We haven't had any precipitation in awhile.
