Found this card when I needed a graduation card quickly. Very easy to make and great for both men and women. I’ll keep this in mind when my son graduates next year and I need a bunch of cards for his friends. Thanks for the video

Hi I am a teacher and want to make one for each of my seniors. That looks beautiful and simple enough. Where do I find the measures? Could you please share them?

Made this card for my daughter's graduation. Easy to follow. However, my only wish is that, at the beginning of your video, I wished you had mentioned the card needs to be trimmed down.

Sorry! I made this to fit an envelope I had that was larger than Medium SU!, but I made two different sizes. Even with the smaller size you can adjust the cap to fit (so it will not be too tall for the envelope) by laying it out on the envelope before attaching it. And really I guess you should do that always since it is very easy to have it just a smidge too tall if you don't.

Do you have plans for the blue one? That is my grandson's colors and I would like to buy it. I will make another one later for stock.

If so, no numbers please.

What size is the little piece that folds over? It’s the little piece that the mortar board sticks to?
@rhondagriffinthestampinbun16762 жыл бұрын
It is actually up to you. I've used several sizes. Generally, the piece should be an inch narrower than the width of the center piece. I typically make it either 3 inches scored at 1-1/2 down to as small as 2 inches scored at 1 inch.

what size envelope? so cute
@rhondagriffinthestampinbun16763 жыл бұрын
I used a 5X7 one we carry for the Cherry Cobbler one, but the Daffodil Delight/yellow and Pacific Point fits in a regular Medium Stampin Up! envelop - A4 size.

What is the measurement for the small piece of cardstock for the cap to sit on tks
@rhondagriffinthestampinbun16762 жыл бұрын
For the "action" piece, use matching cardstock that is about 2-1/2 inches wide by 2 inches wide and score it in half. Really the size isn't important though. You can make it narrower if you'd like. Then, be sure that the fold is a bit ABOVE the edge of the top of the card so it will move freely. This can best be understood by viewing the video below at 9:47.

I feel like I've watched this 16 times! So cute...is the mortar board piece 3x3?
@rhondagriffinthestampinbun16762 жыл бұрын
Yes it should be 3x3. Approximately. You want it to be about 4-1/4 on the diagonal to fit in an A-2 envelope.

Bonsoir je regarde votre tutoriel est il possible d'avoir les mesures en inch écrite svp? Merci beaucoup. J'ai du mal avec l'anglais 😊
@Hrtsdelite2 жыл бұрын
Can you give all dimensions of cuts? I’m following your tutorial and it doesn’t seem like all were mentioned or they are just not fitting in place.
@rhondagriffinthestampinbun16762 жыл бұрын
Did you click show more? The little flap can be 2 inches wide and and 2 inches tall scored in half. It doesn't matter much what size it is. You can always dog ear the edges at an angle to keep them from showing.
