Have you ever wore a helmet before? There is a cushion layer designed to absorb the impact and the whole point of a helmet. The second being hardness protection. So as long as the cushion layer is also on point, this helmet will save your life every time with minimal damage to you.

@@walker4322 well I respectfully disagree although I understand your perspective. When something collides with your helmet, you actually want it to bounce off or deflect the blow to one side or the other which would happen in 99% of cases where the hat is not penetrated... I've seen people get hit by thousand pound loads and walk away if it deflects, sure you would avoid falling rebar if you can, but if you can't you definitely don't want that going through your hat lol.

@@ВиталийСтепанов-б2д сочувствую тем кто покупает такие китайские шлемы, суть всех мотоциклетных и велосипедных шлемов это защитить и не много раз а всего 1 шлем так легко пробивается потомучто (говорю на своем опыте) велосипедные шлемы сделаны из специальной пены которая при разломе шлема смягчает удар, шлем жалко было 25 тысяч стоил, а из за жёсткости таких шлемов как на видео они не защитят при малейшем ударе в таком шлеме позвоночник в трусы высыпеться

For those that dont know, you want the helmet to break. When it breaks its dispersing the energy from the impact throughout the helmet. You dont want your head rattling around, thats how you get a concussion. When the helmet doesnt break, all its doing is keeping said energy and taking your head with it. Meaning the helmet is dragging your head along and tossing and turning your brain

For those who don't know. This dumbass is trying to apply the same principles of car's crumpling zone to a helmet that attach directly to your skull. There is a foam cushion foam for that and that's enough. The purpose of outer layer is to stop fast objects from puncturing those cushion straight to your brain. Imagine wearing a helmet that shattered into pieces every time you hit the road in motorcycle accident or get hit by shrapnels in warzone.

Jumping only happens if the first initial force is exerted. Ie equal and opposite reaction. The helmet would have to resist the full force of the rod for the rod to then jump in the opposite direction. Also the hose wouldn't prevent it from jumping? The only questionable thing here is if there was a cut and that the guy went 1 floor down to the next window. This would cut the drop from 20-25ft to about 15~10. (3 levels would be 30, but you have to assume lower drop height then the ceiling, this is also assuming the floors are the same height as the US

@@paulantony4598for your knowledge, in some countries it is illegal to sell helmets that does not break in impact for safety reason. Helmets are supposed to crack, helmets are 1 crash items, not multiple.

its a hardhat for construction not motor helmet. the purpose of motor helmet is to absorb shock from head impact due to vehicular accident. to simplify, helmet will protect ur head if it got bashed on the road. theres rare scenario that a steel rod will come flying at you while driving

Прикол в том, что 1е шлема должны ломаться вместо черепушки, забирая всю кинетическую энергию на себя. Спасая твою дурную голову. А второй, при сильном ударе на него, превратит твой мозг в пюре-Агуша. У них специализация разная.

Это ужасный продукт, шлем не должен быть таким прочным, этот шлем при ударе не погасит ее силу, а пропустит через себя прямо в голову носителя, и тогда прощай мозг, шея, позвоночник! Шлем должен ломаться при ударе, при этом сводя силу удара к минимуму, больше шансов избежать серьезных травм, или вовсе не получить! Простая физика

The gap between the falling rod determines the impact. In the first case the rod is not bouncing back due to this and impact is longer which tears the helmet. In the second case the gap is more which gives space for the rod to bounce back and hence impact is less.

Нет. Этот шлем прочнее. Но. Выдержит ли удар шея? Стандартная каска расчитана сломаться и упасть с головы. А этот шлем не сломается. И кинетическая энергия перейдет в шею. И сломает шею. Конечно, ситуации бывают разными. Этот шлем тоже может спасти жизнь. Время расставит всё по местам.

That’s scary as sh*t! Had a random pice of rebar some unknown person left on a beam in the shop ceiling probably 18ft high. We had the shop doors open on a windy day and next thing I hear is a metal object bouncing on the ground a few feet behind me. We have no idea who put it up there or how long it had been up there but glad it didn’t hit anyone in the head. After seeing this, I don’t think any person that could have gotten hit would have even known about it if it was straight vertical like that on impact.

The whole point of a helmet is for the helmet to break and absorb the impact. If it doesn't break that means you're going to have really bad blunt trauma on the top of the head concussion. And that's if you live at all depending on what hits you. I seen a guy get hit with a tape measure and he had one of the plastic hard hats on instead of fiberglass he never came back to work.
