Wow Abel, you're playing and tone is phenomenal. Nice work! Can I ask your opinion on how this caparison compares to your mayones duvell? What style/s do you find each of them best suited for? I'm literally trying to decide between these two for my next purchase! If anyone else wants to chime in, I'd love to hear your experience with these.

Honestly in my opinion, the Dellinger Prominence is more suited for a classic metal style or more of a shred style guitar player given that it has the floating tremolo. My Mayones has a hard tail bridge and gives much more of a mid range attack type of a tone suited for quick fire start and stop riffing, both are built with amazing quality.

how would they compare to ESP USA?

The body does not have arm contour? How comfortable is it? I had that problem with ESP Horizon. But it arched upwards. So i'm trying to guess is this more comfortable?
@GenePlotkin
@GenePlotkin 5 жыл бұрын
I have this Caparison and it’s very comfortable to play. I also have a Horizon III and the shape isn’t ideal with the top being in the way, especially when playing fast rhythm parts.

Really enjoyed this, thanks man. I'd hate to be one of those annoying question askers but would you mind sharing what pick that is? We have very similar right hand styles, and I'm out looking for a better pick!

@AbelHernandezguitar

Correct Drop D. I normally play in dropped C but Caparison sent it in standard and I didn’t want to change the whole setup.

It would've been more helpful to actually demonstrate the capabilities of the pickup configuration instead of the clean tones without any indication of the pickup settings. This guitar has the first production neck pickup with both a dual rail and standard slug coils combined and you didn't go into that at all. You're a phenomenal player and have some great sound patches set up, but you didn't really demonstrate the uniqueness of the guitar IMO.
