Capcom Classics Collection (カプコン・クラシックスコレクション, Kapukon Kurashikkusu Korekushon) is a compilation of arcade games released by Capcom for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox on September 27, 2005 in North America and in 2006 in Japan. It was developed by Digital Eclipse Software (then Backbone Entertainment), Sensory Sweep, and its Japanese developer Klein Computer Entertainment. A second volume, Capcom Classics Collection Vol. 2, was released on November 24, 2006 in North America, for PlayStation 2 and Xbox. The second volume as well as the Xbox version of the first volume were not released in Japan.
Two handheld compilations, Capcom Classics Collection Remixed (not released in Japan) and Capcom Classics Collection Reloaded (Capcom Classics Collection in Japan) were released on March 22 and October 24, 2006 respectively on the PlayStation Portable. Reloaded can also be played on the PlayStation Vita by downloading it on a PS3 and copying it via the USB transfer function to the Vita. A Game Boy Advance compilation, Capcom Classics Mini-Mix (North America only), was released on September 19, 2006. Reloaded and Mini-Mix were not developed by Digital Eclipse, but rather by Klein Computer Entertainment and Sensory Sweep, respectively.
Many of the games included in this compilation were re-released as part of Capcom Arcade Cabinet for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 from February 19, 2013 to April 17, 2013.[1]

I bought this on PS2 just for Black Tiger. I like a lot of these games, but I did grow up in the 80’s arcades! Enjoyed it. 👊🦈🏁

Nice vid buddy, sorry to hear you didn't take too well to these, this late in the game some of these are defo acquired tastes or just plain dated enough 'you had to be there maaan' lol. So I have the PS2 versions of the 2 Capcom Arcade collections, which have confusingly different splits for the games and are just called Capcom Collection Vol 1 and Vol 2 (also have Capcom Arcade Cabinet in it's entirety for 360). Here's my basic takes on the games on this volume from my own collected versions just to maybe guide you to the good stuff and help you avoid the hot garbage: Hold on to yer pantaloons...datablast incoming. 1941: Great graphics and sound get rubbished by an awful second stage that's clearly designed to eat your no longer existent 10ps. Just play 1942 instead. All the shooting, none of the awkward gameplay mechanics or crappy fuel gauges. Avengers: Fun if bizarre (a top down beat-em-up using the same mechanics as Commando and Gun.Smoke?!) but I could never get past the boss on the bridge who seemed to have an invisible wall in front of him but could blow you up, so I stopped playing it and never went back. Maybe avoid. Bionic Commando: 8 bit ports fixed all the issues, play out of curiosity but not as good as the home versions. Black Tiger: Hard as balls classic platform hack and slash, like an expanded cross of Ghouls n Ghosts and Rygar. Corker. Block Block: Have this but only played it once, seemed okay but didn't grab me. Captain Commando: You can jump but never need it, being on the PSP will rob this of the best thing about it, the 4 player co-op, but this is a great hybrid of Final Fight and the cartoon chaos of the X-Men beat-em-up with fairer difficulty than both. And you can cut people in half in a 90s game willy nilly with no censorship. And stomp people with giant robots. Or shoot them with rocket launchers. Or set them on fire. One of my all time faves. Forgotten Worlds: This'd be great if you had more than one life. Could've done with twin stick instead of the rotational shooting. Otherwise it's a fun but hard multi-directional shooter with lovely graphics. Last Duel: Unfun and hard as nails shooter where you alternate between driving an underpowered scifi car or a jet. Avoid. Legendary Wings: Stupidly hard vertically scrolling shooter that turns into a poor clone of Shinobi for random underground stages. Avoid. Magic Sword: Fun if manic and kind of confusing 'horizontal Gauntlet' hack and slash. Love the random characters you can save who fight alongside you even in 1 player mode. Mega Twins: Fun platformer with cute graphics but a bit hard and credit-feedy and would've made a better console game than an arcade game (and did get ported to the Mega Drive as Chiki Chiki Boys) Quiz and Dragons: No idea. Never played it, had no interest in playing a quiz game so never did. Section Z: Fun but very hard multidirectional shooter. Very early so very dated, but the gameplay is really solid if you can hack the difficulty level. Side Arms: Hyper Dyne: Great but dated multidirectional shooter with cool power-ups and funny bootleg Gundam enemies. Starts easy but racks up the difficulty fast. You're dead in the water once you lose your power-ups like most shooters. The Speed Rumbler: Persevere with this and it's entertaining Mad Max crossed with Commando fare, one of the first games you could get in and out of vehicles and nick other peoples. Takes a long time to get the hang of the controls, but the sense of humour and the carnage kept me interested. Graphics have dated badly mind. Street Fighter: Bobbins. Strider: Love it. Needs a free swear jar lmao. Three Wonders: Give this some more time mate, it really grows on you, especially the run-and-gun game out of the three. Chariot is way too hard thanks to a huge ship sprite tho. Varth: I ****ing mark out for Varth, love me some Varth. That said, it's balls hard and I'm a shooter fan where you're kind of, on the fence. So I don't know if it's worth you persevering. It has loads of secrets though, and you'll giggle if you find the secret Street Fighter 2 easter eggs. All the best mate, take care. Also do NOT get any of these Digital Eclipse packs for the Street Fighter 2 ports, the emulation is godawful with terrible collision and broken difficulty if they're like the PS2 versions. But if you like Final Fight, the other one is worth it for Knights of the Round and King of the Dragons alone.
