A couple of things I should have clarified. Firstly, this collection is called the capcom fighting bundle in the west but doesn't come with the International (Japanese) version of the 30th anniversary collection. I don't believe there's a physical release of it either. Secondly, I said that street fighter 2 championship edition' when it's 'champion edition'. Finally, The lack of win/lose screen is not just in online only. It's playing any game in vs.

It would've been awesome if they made a 3rd disc and threw original console ports in. Like the ps1 version of alpha 3 had the worl tour mode. Awesome! I feel like playing the old console ports would've had a different type of nostalgia to it for sure.

Totally agree. In addition to the PS2 version of alpha 2 gold I would like to have the GBA version of alpha 3 upper and the PSP alpha 3 max. It would have been great to get the arcade version of zero 2 alpha as well. I think the only home port of that exists on the japanese Street Fighter Zero: Fighters' Generation collection

Not in terms of gameplay. All the blood etc remains as far as I know. According to the site, regarding some of the vampire saviour games "All characters now have a single ending (secret endings have been removed)." This means that in one instance a picture of half-naked Morrigan/Lilith has been removed. A minor change if you ask me.

Okay so, I already own the 30th AE edition. Are there any real advantages to owning the fighting bundle other than it being 2 in 1? or should I just buy the collection as I already have 30th AE

I would just buy the Fighting collection. The bundle is a great way to buy both but there's no difference, apart from the packaging, to buying them separately.

@@goukigod Okay cool, thank you! To be honest i’m just desperately trying to find a way to play 3S on ps5 without a bunch of delay lol. My hope was that in the bundle they may have tweaked it just a little… no dice 💀 I didn’t even know that Online edition was still available a couple years ago, looks like they fully delisted it :/ Thanks for your reply!

I don't believe that's as easy as it might sound. It fundamentally changes how the games are played. Eg moves/setups that have good corner carry would be massively affected and this might put some characters at a big disadvantage.

No. marvel vs capcom 2 did get a 1up arcade cabinet release recently but due to licence issues it's extremely unlikely we'll ever see it released on console/steam again

Me too. I fell in love with X-men Vs Street fighter from the first time I saw the attract mode in the arcade. I then saved my allowance for an entire year so that I could get my Saturn modified to play Japanese games and imported a copy. It was the best of times!

Capcom fighting collection shows how poor 30th anni is. Not even a real training, unplayable Super SFII Turbo and no Alpha II gold. I got an emulator so I can play all these games but I play Fighting collection due to how fast it loads QoL compared to to arcade. I rather play PS2 Alpha anthology and SF Collection than 30th collection.

I think even with the Fighting collection, the decision to only include the arcade versions results in collections that feel like they're missing something. For example, I wish they had included the PS1 version of Cyberbots. Only including the vanilla versions of SFIIT and the Alpha games in the street fighter collection is another example of why this approach is problematic.

It's one of the original tracks made specifically for the fighting collection. I don't actually remember what it's called but if you look up the OST you'll find it in there.
