This game was truly a bit of an 'odd duck' so far as Capcom's stable of X-overs went... it's like the company heads one day just went _"Screw it - we haven't released anything noteworthy lately; let's just take our IPs, toss them all in a cement mixer, & hope for the best!"_ In a lot of ways, the whole thing just feels like some weird early prototype for MUGEN... although, not to sound harsh, but, frankly, I've seen versions that had _WAY_ more care & attention put into them than this..! ..... Still, won't lie - that ending artwork is 🔥🔥🔥 Udon are the best! ;-)

Rwgardless of what most say, I really enjoyed playing this game. The roster choices were interesting, sure but I enjoyed playing it. I liked the backgrounds and music. I enjoyed this game more than any of the Street Fighter 3 games. This game just felt more wild, due to the rushed feeling of it but also how interesting these pieces came together.

I think when fighting col 2 comes out more people will appreciate it in hindsight. I still think the physics was fun to mash buttons on even if it didn’t make the tourney players happy. It’s a fun CASUAL game.

You'd think with a game called Capcom Fighting Evolution, it would have more fighting game representation... But no! Let's put 3 different versions of Street Fighter, Darkstalkers and Red Earth then call it a day. Oh and all of the rosters are poorly implemented and poorly balanced, in the end, you have this beautiful trainwreck of a game. We lost Capcom Fighting All Stars for this.
