At this point, Capcom is trying to put Mega Man in the dumpster because they don't think they're worth making because they won't make enough money. This sucks on so many levels because thanks to Capcom machine gunning Mega Man games left and right in the 2000s, Mega Man went on a long hiatus due to Capcom overflowing the market with Mega Man games. Sometimes, I wonder how the state of this series will be if Capcom didn't machine gun Mega Man titles in the 2000s. If they just reduced the number by a large amount to like 2 Mega Man games a year, then maybe Mega Man wouldn't be doing so poorly financially compared to the current big boys of Capcom's franchises.

First, the current Mega Man producer leaves who tried to make Mega Man great again like the Ole days, then they announce that they're shutting down X Dive, and now this NFT crap. Seriously, I don't know who at Capcom is rapidly spreedrunning on how to make fans hate the company, but whoever it is, they gotta be a ex employee at Konami because Konami did the same to many of their fans because they thought that their fans wanted pachinko machines and gacha games. I really hope Capcom gets their crap together because if they don't, we might see pachinko Mega Man machines or Capcom pulling a Nintendo when it comes to fan games. Like Capcom, please don't do this. The Blue Bomber and his fans deserve better than this.

Dude they just released the Battle Network legacy collection, and it sold well. Just wait for a bit, we don't want an oversaturation of Mega Man games as you said. 1 or 2 a year is enough, there just wasn't much for the past few years before BN collection aside from the Zero ZX collection and X Dive due to the pandemic.
