Nice roundup, but Parodius should've won that round! 😅

Great video, my only comment is the audio of the voices seems to change levels between different segments. I can't argue with Saki's decisions though, but all the games were great! Hope you have a safe journey back to the UK and you get to spend quality time with your family.

Thanks Kris! It *shouldn't* as I took great care to normalize and compress all of the voices of the entire script before any editing and looking at the sound waves and dB levels they are all consistent, Hisao is a bit more softly spoken so maybe that be accounted for in the future. Journey back went fine, apart from being delayed in Osaka, but that didn't matter, and the China transit meant I couldn't release the video when I wanted.

Fun video with some really great games. And your so right about Street Fighter 2 versions being confusing but Turbo is probably the sweet spot where it upgrades enough but doesn't take the game too far away from what it was. Also, Chun-Li's fireball.

Hiya Saki ☺️ and also welcome back boys, (it’s almost like the Miami Vice and One flew over the cuckoo nest wrap parties invites got mixed up lol 😂) This was an excellent battle and some awesome titles. I can see why it was such a tight battle and a difficult choice Saki. These are just legendary games developers and between them they use to drain my pocket money on a fairly regular basis back in the day. The action platformer contest was just impossible to judge on my part as those are two of my most favourite games but like with all the match up’s today, the boys did a rad job of explaining their choices. Anyways, thanks to you, Kaito, Hisao and the Rubbish Heap for this awesome upload and as always. Happy Holidays to you all and as always, stay the most rad 😎🤟🏻

Haha, Hisao and Kaito, the odd couple :) This was indeed a really classic era, but they continued it well into the PlayStation/Saturn era too. And there are plenty of great Capcom and Konami games in the PS2/GC era too, Onimusha, Okami, Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3, Silent Hill 2, Resident Evil 4...man so much good stuff. Both the action platformers were indeed tough to judge but I think two things take it for Super Castlevania, it's more accessible to a wider audience of players, and the music is just that bit more special, otherwise, Super Ghouls & Ghosts should never be overlooked. Happy Holidays and thanks for all of the support, it's legendary and respected!

Hi Saki! Great video! If you wonder why it did get low view counts this might have to do with that you have scheduled it's publishing online in the very early morning in Europe (where most of your viewers from), on weekend! Try publish your videos around 15-17:00 in Europe and UK. Try different times to find the best

Thanks! This one was delayed by access to KZbin being blocked in China as I was traveling, and released in the morning European time to do that exact experiment, as usually it's released Friday lunchtime for Europe otherwise, late evening in Japan, and early morning in eastern America. Share share share, get the word out there!
