With the new collection coming out, are there going to be any matches using that version and uploaded here? It's the PRO version I noticed, which I think adds Joe and Dan as lvl 1 characters, but I don't know if any balance changes are in that version.

some really good players in the cvs 2 discord all say that pro is trash in comparison to the vanilla one although it includes those 2 chars and few more stages. It seems also their attempt to rebalance the game (see a comment below about nerfing levels 1 and buffing level 3) made it less fun and appealing

@@mouad19 I figured it was probably a balance thing. I also couldn't imagine anyone felt like two extra lvl 1 characters would be a "must have". So I'm left to wonder why pro is part of the upcoming collection if it's not the preferred version. Of course all anyone is gonna play is CVS2 anyways.

@@mouad19 Apparently the players you mentioned are not so good? Rubbish you say? I have always played and continue to play in 1vs1 mode and don’t see any problems. I started playing since the release of the original on dreamcast in 2000, and then in the pro version.

Pro version is less preferred cuz 1. DC is Japan only, PS1 isn’t in fightcade and has abysmal loading times, and it didn’t come out on the arcade 2. Pro has wierd rebalancing. Ratio 1’s got nerfed into the ground, and 3’s got big buffs 3. Lol who plays as Dan and Joe

My guess is those characters aren't any good so wouldn't be picked anyways. But I it may also have balance changes they don't like.

@@gantz22ify they have more health , but some level 1 chars like king, sakura, benimaru etc have a crazy combo potential that deals big damage , so in a way they are overpowered
