I sometimes use Cape Air when visiting my cousin in Kirksville, Missouri. I also use Air Choice One to fly to my childhood town of Burlington, Iowa (Air Choice One has hubs in Chicago and St. Louis).

BIL Airport is going through a renovation for the first time in 30 years or so. I actually live in Billings. When I had this roommate, in 1940s house, we lived straight beneath gate A3. My roommate & I have been FAA fanatics really our whole life.

I've flown this route many times. But when I get to Sidney, it's still an hour and a half (90 miles) drive to where I live.

Really enjoyed the video. I live 50 min north of SDY in Froid, MT. Cape Air provides a very important link for us in NE Montana. People frequently use this EAS service for doctors appointments in Billings. I occasionally fly SDY-BIL-DFW-CMI to visit family.

Of all the 402s the C models were hands down the best. I was lucky enough to build most of my early twin time in these.

It’s gonna be sad to see these 402s go. Since I was a little kid visiting my grandparents on Cape Cod, watching the airplanes in Hyannis, I’ve always associated Cape Air with the Cessna 402

I use Cape Air all the time out of Billings. I fly to Wolf Point The only down side is the size of the plane. Being 6'7 those planes are a bit cramped for a tall gentleman like myself.

I was working up in Medicine Lake this summer on a project and left my rig in billings a couple times and flew in to sydney just to save drive time and wear and tear cant beat the price even with cheap gas...you should fly into BZN if the weather is clear its pretty spectacular from any direction but the SLC to BZN is the best

I flew Cape Air today and the crew did not like me filming and said all phones and devices needed to be powered off completely and not just in Airplane Mode. Which meant I couldn't film this flight.

Living in Massachusetts I've flown Cape Air many times and on those Cessnas. Bumpy flight to Boston is par for those flights. Flown in the jump seat too.

We avgeeks like to evaluate both aircraft and pilot performance on takeoff and landing. It's difficult to enjoy these portions of the flight in fast-forward so please continue to show restraint.

For future referance, If you have a cool pilot, and only 1 pilot, he'll let you ride shotgun. Just dont touch anything. 😁 Flying in small airplanes like this has its ups and downs over the big lumbering jets.
