Thanks so much, Gary! As you can see, this retirement thing is really so difficult, haha! Something for you to look forward to. Hope all is well in Garytown!

Thanks, Delores. That's very close to where I generally stay. Hyannis is a great place and a good jumping off point for Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket as well as the rest of the Cape. Hope you're able to get back for a visit!

Thanks again, MA! Back in the 90s I had a career as a YA (coming of age) author, which I put on hold because I was so busy with my teaching career. Now that I'm retired, Daniel Hayes the writer is back! Just finished a novel (not sold yet) called My Kind of Crazy.

I see they have made Main St. one way. Is that for the summer? I always stayed at the Seacoast Inn on Ocean St. until they changed ownership. I love the area and the vibe. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks so much for watching, @Busalad! I think it's one way just for the summer season although I haven't been there much past Labor Day for the last few years. It's kind of nice to be able to amble down the street without worrying too much about traffic. Not only do I like Hyannis, but it's a great jumping off place for other points of interest such as Nantucket, Martha's Vineyard, Chatham, Provincetown, etc. (Perhaps you've seen some of those vlogs.) I've have good luck with the Travel Inn, just around the corner from the Seacoast. I've gotten to know the owner, Liam, and the manager, Patrick, and they always make me feel welcome and give plenty of travel tips.

Main Street is one-way year round. Many years ago it was seasonal.
