Cape Hatteras Light Station, Buxton NC. Sometimes, you get surprised. Cape Hatteras is undergoing restoration. Restoration started February 2024. It is projected to be completed by summer of 2026. Now, we have a reason to visit again. If you get to the outer banks, go check on the restoration progress.
