That looks like so much fun! I missed my chance to fish the point last year because I came down with COVID. It was my last day to do it. I'm headed back for two weeks July 1- July 15. Let's Fish! I hope I have an experience like yours. I dream about my Hatteras fishing vacation all year long.

was this low tide? do you do better at hgh tide generally ? There's nothing more fun than being into a bite like this casting lures at the beach. NOTHING. I would much rather do this than bait fish every chance that I get., especially with lighter tackle.. Your joy is exactly how I would feel at this moment as well!

Thanks Stephan I really don't mind the tide that much. I rather care about the time of the day. l think that's more important than tide

Hi Abdullah, thanks for the great videos. I am headed down to Hatteras next week, can you recommend certain areas for the best catch? I am looking for Blue, Spanish, Big red.. guess as everyone else. I would appreciate your recommendation in terms of beaches and time of the day you would recommend. Much appreciated, thanks!

Hi Peter welcome to Born to Fish OuterBanks family....My favorite spot when it comes to Spanish mackerel or Blue fish fishing is ramp 45 but unfortunately its closed due to bird nestling..... But there is a small place left by park service around ramp 44 that you have to walk over the dunes to access.....

For big Red Drums l would still suggest you to go north of the point....it kinda half closed but it will still do it....Good luck brother.... Tight Lines....
