Interesting, following from the UK. I am an SA expat, very heavily involved in ReformUK.Recently stood in our UK election in Fylde ,Lancashire, I came 3rd, now onwards and upwards.

Two other things come to mind regarding the Capexit result: The wind was taken out of the voters sails when it came to light that they were to be excluded from the election, even though the RP gave an undertaking to give their votes to the DA. Secondly, an articulate and charismatic non-white candidate is required to draw people to the party with solutions about what can be done to improve their lives and not just to bash the opposition.

People don't even know how the election works. People voted DA because they were afraid that a vote for ANYONE else meant that somehow the ANC or EFF would win. People do not know whta the reality is. So they will vote out if fear rather than for their own future. You COMPLETELY missed the point. Your marketing focused on COMPLETELY the wrong things.
