Great vid! I've been to Cape Lookout a bunch of times. Was there back in November (11/23), and going again in April (4/24). Just a heads up, I'm pretty sure that drones are not allowed on federal land, and Cape Lookout is part of the national park service.

How high clearance for the deep sand part you parked in? You think 2024 honda pilot trailsport can clear the deep sand areas?

Yes. I've seen Subarus out there. I've even seen a Tesla on the beach out there. As long as you have all-wheel/4-wheel drive, you should be fine.

You learned a lesson. Big knobby tires are lousy for sand. Street tires, the balder the better aired down to 15psi are the best for the beach.

Hi Dude, I recommend you go with a 4x4 the sand is thick in some areas.
