I walked the track N2S in April and it was fantastic. I had never walked with poles, but with all the sand they were a game changer for me. I do like your umbrella and it reminded me of the explorer Nicholas Crane who wrote in his book 'Clear Waters Rising' about his umbrella called ''Que Chova''. Great video and thanks for sharing your journey.

@@206898195311 it’s a great walk for sure. I usually hike with poles but now that I’m shooting video my hands are now full and the poles are impractical unfortunately though in hindsight I wish I had used them as I developed Achilles Tendinopathy as a result of the long beach walking. Never knew about Nicholas Crane! I must look that up!
