Cape Town Mayor, Premier Alan attend law enforcement training session

One thousand new law enforcement trainees of the city of Cape Town, under the LEAP programme, will add to the 1 300 that are already on the ground in the crime hotspots of the city.
This is to assist the SAPS in the fight against a Metro ravaged by criminality.
Five of the top 10 crime hotspots in the country are from the Cape Metro, according to latest SAPS crime statistics.
Mayor Geordin Hill-Lewis and Premier Alan Winde are to attend the training session.
