Cape Town Reptile Expo & Tyron’s Corns & Colubrids!

This weekend we headed all the way down to Cape Town for their first ever reptile expo! Cape Town is limited to the species of reptiles they are allowed to keep but there still is a nice range of snakes and gecko species that can be kept in the Western Cape on permit. It is a growing hobby there and we made sure we were there to promote and educate people on the reptile hobby!
We then visited our good friend Tyrone who stays in Cape Town. Tyrone has an awesome collection of some amazing colubrids that he keeps and breeds. I hope you enjoy checking out all his amazing snakes! Enjoy the video :)

So 2 things for your friend: lampropeltis Mexicana thayeri was actually reclassified as lampropeltis leonis. Also the albino leonis are actually hybrids (I'm pretty sure the cross the gene came from was the ruthveni.)
