Cool rig, but Damn 124 bucks, I bit spendy imho. I could see maybe 100. I mean all the parts are just 3d printed plastic, if say the transmission portion and maybe the skid were aluminum sure 124-150 fair but... and like I say just my opinion.

Another great build Adam, you're amazing don't know how you do it. Do you sleep? Fat big tires in the rear ,narrow smaller in the front,crome wheels, keep it blk,but rat it out (rust).

Just purchased. Looks great. Motor mount is questionable, material is kind of flimsy. Recommend some kind if reinforcement and using panhead screws for motor instead of the supplied ones which are tapered. Made some brass flat washers will see how they hold up. Maybe some kind of support for the motors as they are quite long.

you should do like a smaller front/bigger back tire setup with some tires that are both available as a 57mm and a 64mm

I wonder what material they used to print the SLA parts. The mofo website says it was printed at 12k. Early in the video I swear I could see layer lines and thought it was FDM printed. The motor mount already broke?!? I would rather just have them put the files on Cults3d. I'd be willing to pay for the STLs and I'll print it myself.

Put the smaller swamp kings in the front and the bigger in the back two birds one stone lower gravity in the front and the smaller wheels will give more wheel speed I would think would be similar to an overdrive gear set

I made my dual motor mount out of aluminum. I hadn't considered torque though, my reason was that 3D couldn't get the gear mesh correct consistently.. kept stripping out trans gears. The +/- 3D print accuracy at that time (3yrs ago) was not good enough. That said, i think 3D printers could do it with the right design.

Super cool looking, especially the double motors, but I ain't buying 3D printed stuff anymore. Every time I have it just falls apart. If they ever make this with solid materials I'll be grabbing one. Edit: Think smaller tires would look better. And I'd personally get something as low profile as possible, lean into the rat rod look.

I added some thick plastic washers to spread the load and so far it’s been ok thru 4 battery packs, time will tell. Maybe grafting 2 steel motor plates together? 🤔 the trans material seems a little soft and the bearings are a little sloppy. Might have to go back in with some CA.
