Kefar Nahum is the town which was the center of Jesus’ ministry in northern Galilee and the town of where Peter’s mother-in-law lived.
Located on the north-west side of the lake of Galilee, the ruins of Capernaum are divided into two sites: the Franciscan and the Greek Orthodox.
Unlike Jerusalem and other touristy ancient places in Israel, Capernaum seems to be untouched, still in its raw form. Just by walking here, and looking at the lake, the hills, the mountains, we felt connected to its history. It is as if we could almost see Jesus walking on these shores, looking at the same hills.
And besides the breathtaking nature, Capernaum has fascinating ruins. A 4th-century synagogue built on top of the original one where Jesus taught, a house which is believed to be the house of Simon Peter the apostle, and much more.

The Meaning of that statement Jesus said to Peter is; After Jesus death and resurrection, Peter thought his mission with Lord was all over and done. But it's just the beginning for "Mr Rock Foundation." He is the one to carry on with taking care of His flocks (lambs & sheeps). But to do it, Peter must love Jesus with all his heart over his own life and in the same way as Jesus, he too must give up his own life for the flocks. Peter shed tears when finally understood it.

In 2011 I spent an hour at the Synagogue begging God to heal my son who was facing Brain surgery due to epilepsy. I returned home and now in 2024 he’s not had Brain surgery or epilepsy episodes since. Healing still happens in Capernaum.

I visited Capernaum twice in the 1990s but I had forgotten how close it brought me to the base of the Galilean mission of Jesus and his disciples. To stand by Simon Peter's house helped me to reconnect with that ongoing mission to proclaim the Gospel afresh to each generation. I look forward to meeting Simon Peter on that great Day when Jesus returns and the dead shall rise in glory! Jesus was dead for 3 days in a tomb and Jehovah God resurrected him to life. So what your basically saying is that if Jesus is god than, A. God can be dead and B. he resurrected himself after 3 days... which of course contradicts the first part that it’s possible for God to die because if he can resurrect himself then he’s not really dead... now, does that really make any logical sense to you?

Jesus himself said the father is greater than he (John 14:8) , and when he resurrected Lazarus he looked toward heaven and said about his father “True, I knew that you always hear me; but I spoke on account of the crowd standing around, so that they may believe that you sent me.” (John 11:42) Sorry man but I could go on and on. There are so many scriptures that disprove the trinity yet people still choose to believe in a man made doctrine. God has no beginning, Jesus did because god created him (Colossians 1:15). Jesus also never took credit for the miracles he performed but always gave credit to Jehovah. Hopefully you find some truth eventually. Do the research for yourself and don’t let doctrines fool you.
