Let's get the goods trains and lines open and also running in order to get many of the trucks off the roads which will help in road maintenance...

This does not benefit native residents of CT, as the current apartheid labour laws already throw native Cape Townians under the train.

Sounds like an awesome plan but the figure mentioned will be far short of what is required. 1. The people in CT do not have a respect for infrastructure which will be damaged during the 30 years. 2. The City has not budgeted for the safety of the rail, the trucks and the people due to the crime that prevails in this City which has not been harnessed by either Government SAPS. The City would require to implement policing solely to this project at a cost to the City. The TAXI associations will never allow for this and while the ANC is in power the associations will remain a law unto themselves. I dont believe the people of Cape Town have matured enough to respect progress and that each and everyone can and has the oportunity to be part of it by appreciating change and growth rather than bad habits and self serving chaos. 3.
