Gm Madam I am bit confused that objects in String constant pool can be destroyed by garbage collector or not?? As you say garbage collector don't have rights to destroy string constant pool non reference objects ??? Please reply mam
@fidanras Жыл бұрын
I wonder, do you ever need to know how garbage collector works apart being used in the interviews?

Being in IT industry, working with multiple projects, in case u see some properties like -Xmx and wonder what they are. How are they configured, why are they configured, if u see stack, heap memory allocation issues, study garbage Collection then. 🙂. Hope you don't need to Rasit Fidan 🙂🙂👍👍. Once in whole of ur career you might come across such complex issues. 👍 all the best. Study well. Stay updated 👍👍

@@CodeDecode I have been working in IT for years , But never ever needed something besides those configuration values. How the garbage collection works or how many types of garbage collectors exist. I didn't need any of those information. If you work for Oracle and also writing the java version 18-19 then you may need to know the details. The internal works. Because we don't have chance to extend it. In my opinion anything who is not open for us to extend it , We don't have to know the internal work of all those structures. Memory model , Garbage collectors.. They ask those questions in the interviews as If we are going to write a new java JVM release... Same goes for how Hashmap works, Or how Streams work internally...We don't have to know. The only thing we have to know is to "How to use?" We don't have to know "what is" "Why is it?" questions. Just waste of time.

Agreed Rasit. But thats how things are since years in IT industry Man. We can't do anything. Did u try for product based companies? There also we have few concepts like sliding window patterns etc along side which the questions for Data structure are asked. Same goes with all service and product based companies man. We can't do anything. If u wont answer, others will and take up your vacant position at higher salary. I totally understand your frustration but i want to know ur opinion on product based companies interviews too

@CodeDecode2 жыл бұрын
Yes leetcode we can use but its too much time consuming. What we feel is that there are some standard questions usually asked. Just practice those
