Native Topekan here! Fun fact about the Brown v Board case the attorneys in that case were all graduates of Washburn University School of Law the university in Topeka. Which is also I believe one of the last municipal run universities in the country

Goes to show that any institution or school in the country (not just Ivy Leagues or ones with old money) has potential to equip the right people with the right tools to create massive nationwide change or progress. Great supplementing information!

As a kansas native this was nice. You are also close to the Territorial Capital of Kansas Lecompton. Kansas DOES have a lot to offer.
