I have developed mild schizophrenia and seeing the disease from my current perspective the way I would describe it is its like your mind is betraying you. I feel like i'm watching my life at times, not experiencing it. It's something that slowly takes your mind hostage and the people around him couldn't have recognized the symptoms. If he had someone who really cared about him he might still be here today. My head hurts thinking about how I could've been without my family. You don't think it could be you but you never know.

Dylan Davis I went through hell and back and am now able to live a normal life due to my therapist and medication. Schizophrenia isn't fucking fake, it has nothing to do with the way I think. "Cancer is fake, it's just that your body is behaving in ways normal people's bodies can't" how does that sound? Fucking bullshit.

Dylan Davis I think you need to take your rose coloured glasses off. Schizophrenia is a serious illness and nothing to take lightly. You can go back to your world of delusions and pain, while I'm having the time of my life knowing that I'm okay.
