That book explains things so much better than any of us could tell. I highly recommend it and then you will have a much greater understanding of James and more admiration for him. I've read it and given away copies to friends who have loved it.

First off this is one of the best songs of all time let's get that out of the way first. Does anyone else think it's crazy how much his voice has changed since he first was introduced to the world? It's a lot better. It is deeper so maybe he just hadn't fully matured when he won, that or he didn't know how to use it as well and use his deep tone so well. The least likely explanation is somehow all the dental work he had done altered how it sounds. Remember when he first auditioned he had really bad teeth, so much so they were distracting. Oh what I wouldn't give to have that voice come out of my mouth when I open it. He has one of the best voices of all time.
