19:34 Moments like this in CC are some of my favorites because of how quiet, chill and even a bit melancholic but in an almost comforting and relaxing way. The lack of music, dark shadows and the sound of the fire crackling and just the simple casual way in how Muggle and max talk to eachother in this scene. I love scenes like this :)

Yoooo! This cartoon was so entertaining as a kid but I'm seeing the adult themes and the corruption of Washington how they managed to splice that in there is pure genius. The 90s were truly the Golden Age of cartoons

When I first watched the complete series, I was stunned they didn't make more. I respected the senators during the meeting, with one having a comic book hidden and the other reading that magazine. That tells you they are professional. Does anybody even know the music the janitor was listening too?

Our parents worked too hard at mKing a living to give a dang about "kiddy cartoons" that they didn't think were worth taking up their valuable work or relaxation time. At least, that's what my dad told me. He also doesn't see the point of comedians. He grew up in the 50s, in a different world, without a TV 📺.

It was a bit ahead of its time. The Simpsons was the most risque thing on network TV until later in the decade. They couldn't compete with better shows on cable, and those without cable were not interested. There were quite a few adult-but-family-friendly animations that didn't get past a first season.

Technically but it's not despite making as Burger King Kids Meal toys. This show along with Fish Police and Family Dog has so many adult themes and it aired on nights instead on Saturday or Sunday morning cartoons. Nothing beats The Simpsons during that year in the early 90s
