Too bad you didn’t learn anything from what happened to the patio since you did not even consider using concrete or concrete blocks and rebar attached to steel beams or piers that go really deep under the sand and have the wall go up higher to protect the back outside area and the house from storm damage and extremely high waves.

I suppose you have to be careful surfing in this sort of area as you could end up crashing through someone's front window and ending up in the family living room.
