Capping off for the Winter

Is that just 1 tarp covering it up? You're not going to try and heat it this winter are you? You mentioned checking to see what the temps do with insulation in.

Just the one thin tarp. 50'x30'. Hopefully we won't need to heat it. Still need to get the door on and finish insulating before we start checking the temps. I just got a big insulation delivery today. If the temps get too low, we'll stick a propane heater in it but I don't want to have to.

@@OutdoorTraveler my thought is condensation. You look like you're up north. Where I am the roof needs R50 to keep the heat loss down to the point that the attic stays dry. You're not going to have that here, but then again it's only 1 winter and you're probably going to have you eye on it anyway.

R49 is the requirement here. I'll have R30 in the basement ceiling. But I'm not looking to have the place at room temp, just a bit above freezing. So the rate of heat loss will be lower since there is a smaller temperature change over the body only the insulation. But I still need to measure to see what happens.
