This is my story exactly. Just finalized divorce from an avoidant who ran and stopped communicating when there were challenges or issues. Now I am moving on to my new house and our home will be sold. He has told me repeatedly that he loves me and always will but at the end of the day, he won’t do the work. He relies on alcohol to self medicate and I can’t tolerate it any more. Lately he has been flirty and wanting to be friends. Even wants my new address to get me a housewarming gift. 😮 I am Moving on

This resonates. The Scorpio that I was involved with had the feelings and fell, then walked it all back and said he didn’t with the help of someone else (his sister/security blanket). I will not trust either of them again. I am the runner protecting myself at this point. I want to move on and find what is out there for me. If he wants resolution then he will need to make that first contact as long as his sister is not involved, and I will decide from there. He’s my soulmate, my person, my favorite person on this earth, and it sucks, but I cannot and will not wait around for an apology that will never happen. There is happiness out there for me, he’s missing out on the one person who sees him for who he is, flaws and all, and loves him in spite of himself, and it’s his loss.

It’s so hard.. Gemini-Crosswatcher here: Capricorn always avoids communicating about the problems of the past and his bad behavior towards me.. he kinda cheated on me out of his own insecurities and tried to hurt me, by making me jealous. I gave him a lot of time to apologize but he contacts me every few months and is acting as if nothing happened. I told him how I feel and what I excepted of him (the bare minimum) but he ghosts me again. I hope he apologizes and works it out or leaves me alone forever this time

Yeah I’m not a one night stand or a hook up. I don’t want sex right off the bat. He told me what I wanted to hear then tried to sex me up immediately. No thanks I don’t love him like that.
