Gate 10 Design/Personality and channel of awakening, here. After years of narcissistic depression, searching (yes, the Advaita way, of course - been there, done that, got the darshan ;)) and deconditioning aka scraping off labels (these suckers are sticky!!), I second your descriptions 100%. It does seem to take a lot of experiencing contrast in order to actually recognize and appreciate the beauty and simplicity of naturalness.

To all the 10-34 I am 64 - it’s a life time to work through it all - and sometime the challenges we give ourselves to grt the gift are harsh but I’m the end worth it - I chose to destroy the body I over identified with and lost my breast through cancer - but I will say I understand the being now having faced death and what else is left ? But to be ? I also understand that the selfishness is not the same as real self love - narcissistic love of self doesn’t equal self love at all . Two totally opposite concepts . I’m the beingness you will find real self love. And that will translate to love for others . In the final acceptance of self you can accept others. Be kind to yourself on the journey all you 10’s - I love you ❤

I have this archetype in my SQ and it deeply resonates with me. My family members always tell me I am extremely ego-centrical, and I know that is true. This is the reason why I am peculiar and hate conformity, and also why socialization, friendships and relationships are difficult and almost unappealing for me. All of this makes me feel quite shameful but at the same time I know we must get over the duality of right and wrong. This is simply a stage spirit has to go through on a macro-cosmic level in order to experience itself, and on a micro-cosmic level in my case. We really have to try to stop putting negative or positive connotations, associations to things..You are right, you can't transcend this archetype overnight. So spot on! Thanks for sharing your knowledge about the energy of the 10 gene key. I have 5 gate 10 in my design.. and it is my "evolution" in the gene key system, so it's very nice to receive those informations from you because sometimes I really feel self obsessed, like I can consume insane amount of informations, do various experiments, because I feel strange compared to the reste of the world. But lately I get this message that I don't have to stress about a career even if I'm already 35. I already had various mystical experience and deep down I know that I can relax and share the joy of being! Now I have to have faith in the universe and stop looking for solutions to illusions, and just abide in enjoying being :) Sending blessings from France

I have 10 in my design moon and connects to 57. I can certainly see my tendency to delve into self obsession which may be crowding out me my ability to 'attract' others. I've always felt limited in my beliefs within my relationships also felt burdened and many challenges pertaining to my indiviDuality. I am now able to truly hone-in on & notice this particular cycle within me when I am being preoccupied with mycellf (cellf absorbed) through cellf exploration (learning & seeking) to find out all of who I am .. Wow, you are spot on! I just want you to know that you've given me much more awareness to allow the transformations to naturally occur as I'm being cellf aware and mindful. I also have Jupiter Gemini 12th house in my personality with gate 20 defined. As I'm rediscovering mycellf I must say that this information has been spot on with my personal life experiences & who I am, this is sooo amazing to me!😊

I've just realized that I assert my indivuality to feel some sense of power and that makes me feel safe. If I don't assert my individuality, then I feel invalidated in my existence. I have my unconcious North Node in my Human Design here. Does that mean the searching of the self has to be my path at least for some time? I want to be/have a sense of self so badly it may be obsessive but I feel like without allowing myself to be someone that I choose to be I feel like not even existing and am very depressed.
