He’s deceased but for some reason I looked through old text messages this morning and saw where he apologized to me about his behavior with his sons. He definitely had childhood trauma and it tormented him all his life. I hope he’s at peace now.

Well she is my soul mate and even though we wasn't able to work things out while we was together we will always love one another. There will always be a natural pull to one another. I've grown a lot since we split. I've gained some greater wisdom through it all. If we are ment to be then it will happen but I'm not putting myself on hold while they figure out themselves.

Intergenerational karma. My father was verbally and emotionally abusive towards me when he was alive. In my last conversation with him before he passed I told him matter of fact not angry I observed he said things over the years just to hurt me. A couple of times he came into my dreams to say he was sorry. I realized years later he was abusive towards me because of things he had done in his life that had nothing to do with me, his own failures as a human being. This karmic cycle has repeated and I just can't believe it. I apologized for what I needed to apologize for and held out the olive branch, but I was met with silence. I hope and pray these karmic cycles are ending for good because the last one was worse than the first one. I cannot take any more abuse, no matter how much I love the person in question. I hope they own up sooner rather than later.

Wow this one really resonates. He dealth with childhood trauma seeing his dad killed in front of his own eyes at 15. Such a pattern of verbal and emotional abuse. Left him 4 years ago, but I keep having dreams he wants to be my “friend”. I’ll forgive and accept an apology, as it’s what I deserve to have peace. But no go back, no friends. Hang in there Caps❤
