I have now moved to Houston for my job. I had a choice to move to Atlanta, where he lives, but I chose Houston to be near my family, particularly my Mother, since my father died on May 28th. I know exactly what is off and missing. It’s like having a pebble in your shoe that wears away at you slowly but surely until it’s an all out sore aching and causing pain. Lack of intimacy is an issue if one is starving and the other doesn’t seem to be bothered at all. In a marriage it’s the glue and can’t be resolved by anyone but your spouse. It’s heartbreaking.

i'm so sorry for your loss! mine died suddenly almost 2 years ago at 59. still hurts from time to time, but it will get better. the "pain button" will get smaller. you will get over the hard part, i assure you that. because i thought i won't. just feel and talk and ask others for help and comfort.

I met my person 6 months ago and we were together for 10 days, it was an instant connection with strong feelings, but I haven’t seen him for six months we do message every day but why?
