A two year journey watching dementia destroy my parents... especially my dad. I've been told I can essentially butt out until it becomes more evident to the powers that be that they are about to self destruct. The situation financially crippled my family to where we've gotten closer and become very ingenious in our survival methods. Watching from a safe distance since my dad is paranoid and armed... always. Once I get the green light I can get things under control... and breathe. Regarding the reading... WOW and also thank you. Knowing that some kind of closure is coming... let's just say a vacation sounds nice.

Indeed a vacation anywhere but here would be nice 😂 but that'll have to be for summer time next year. W. auntie and ninety one yr old gma coming in this week, I'm just focusing on appreciating being present when they arrive. I've had to rearrange and relinquish my spaces for them, and then reorganizing once they leave next week is on the agenda. Going w the flow of things and keeping my energy balanced w the adjustments being made. At times, I can feel a sense of panic creep in because the flow of what I'm doing, along with my space, is being completely disturbed, so grounding is needed.
