「先ずはやってみる」が身上のystk氏や真鍋氏が、自分たちが今おもしろいと思うことをやった結果なんでしょう。だからMVとしての完成度は二の次。ただこの規模の遊び事を本気でやれるのが今の彼らの立場なんでしょうね。このMVの経験（実験）がそれぞれ、次の作品の完成度の高さに繋がるんじゃないだろうか。しかし、こんな事やって楽しかったろうなぁ～（３人でドローンの操縦している楽しそうな姿が目に浮かぶ）

久しぶりにこのMVを見に来たけど本当にワクワクする！ （そして今更だけどドローンが飛んでいる廃墟地帯的なところはもしかしてライアーゲーム再生と同じロケ地…?!） 私はCapsuleの曲を聴く時は音楽ジャンルはあまり気にしない EDMだろうがテクノポップだろうがエレクトロニカだろうが、Capsuleが私に与えてくれるインスピレーションはいつでも素晴らしいものだから Capsuleが持っている、未来的で、それでいてどこか懐かしい、そんな世界観が好き 私の故郷🫶

What do you guys want? Perfection? This will never be enough for you. When Caps Lock came out, everyone complained that he took a step back with his music and could of evolved into the EDM scene. Now you are saying that he sounds generic? What do you want?!?! I personally love all the music he makes. Just having music in one's life is a joy. Everyone is a fucking critic nowadays. I doubt Nakata gives the slightest fuck about what any of you say. I will continue to support Capsule, whatever direction they go. If you don't like it, do not listen to it! It is that simple.

Well said Reagan, Nakata just does what he feels like at the time and definitely doesn't give a shit what anyone thinks, if he did he wouldn't have followed his own vision and develop his unique style. We wouldn't have all the amazing albums that fans love like L.D.K., Fruits Clipper, Phony Phonic, Sugarless Girl, Flashback, More! More! More! etc. if he cared what other people thought. Some fans are very quick to complain when a group changes their sound a bit or tries something new, also as you said fans complain if a band doesn't change their sound so they're damned if they do, damned if they don't lol. I have not heard the full album yet so obviously I don't have a definite opinion on it but going by the songs I've listened to I might like the album, Toshiko is singing a lot so that's always a good thing, as long as there's a Capsule album featuring a good amount of Toshiko, I'm happy XD. Nakata seems to go through phases creating music in the style he's into at the time so if Wave Runner is not for you just forget about it, it's an easy thing to do and wait for the next Capsule album or listen to their other albums, it's not like there is a shortage of them lol.

If Nakata called it quits with Capsule there's a huge body of work of fourteen albums before Wave Runner there for fans to enjoy, of course I hope he doesn't lol and I don't see that happening but that's a staggering amount by any standards, there's not many groups that has as much albums out as Capsule, fans should be grateful for all the awesome music Nakata has created so far. Other bands I like have changed their sound up on each album and now sound different compared to how they originally sounded but l still get something out of their albums because some songs will still have that classic sound that they are known for or other songs will make me go " Wow I never thought they could do something in that style" or something new they try can be interesting, change can be a good thing, it freshens things up and can be a nice contrast to a groups earlier music. To quote Capsule, some fans just want " more, more, more" of the same sound but I notice when you're really into a band you'll always find some songs from an album that interest you even if they have changed their overall sound a good bit. After listening to Dreaming Boy, Another World, Feel Again, White as Snow I still can hear Nakata's own style, I'm not into this EDM genre or whatever it is but I rather listen to Nakata's take on it than a lot of western DJ's who are like clones of each other and no where near as musical as Nakata. Even when doing this style Capsule to me still sound uniquely Japanese because of the combination of Toshiko's vocals and Nakata's imaginative instrumentals. I'd be concerned if Nakata stayed in this style though but I don't think he will, he doesn't seem to stay in one style too long. This will be his "EDM" album lol and that will be that, he'll probably move on to something else for the next album.

the people looks happy with this album... i think that is what nakata wants, after release caps locks, some "fans" didnt like this album because didnt sound like old capsule, i think that was the main reason for he made this album...enjoyable, but of course is not the best.

Music video director Kazuaki Seki works for Perfume and OK Go. Technical director Daito Manabe of Rhizomatiks is another key member of Team Perfume. Nakata says he had something like this in mind when he made the song.

I don't like EDM and I can understand why people are not happy with Wave Runner and Nakata's foray into EDM, but my thoughts on Wave Runner can only be summed up in this way: The only EDM songs I like are the songs on Wave Runner (and Perfume's Party Maker). Only Nakata can make EDM a bit more tolerable and pleasant for my ears hahaha

I pre-ordered this album in iTunes since January 2015. First time I listen "Feel again", I feel this album may be composed with EDM genre. After that in Febuary, CAPSULE launched "Another World" and I listened it, it felt EDM genre and felt life staying in another world as same as song's name. Finally, in Febuary 18th 2015, CAPSULE launched all song in WAVE RUNNER. I listened all song in WAVE RUNNER and I thought this was good, not great and not bad. Why WAVE RUNNER is good? Because CAPSULE dared to compose EDM music. Earlier album from CAPSULE weren't composed with EDM style. WAVE RUNNER is first album of CAPSULE that has EDM style and be composed well EDM music can be listened easier. Every songs from WAVE RUNNER can be used in nightclubs, or private party that have friend who love EDM music. That is fun! But shouldn't listen alone or listen them but don't dance. Cons from WAVE RUNNER are "this is not CAPSULE" and "Going to mainstream" Toshiko's voice is a thing that still be CAPSULE.

I follow CAPSULE since their beginning, and for me 'Wave Runner' is a nice album, really. "Another World" is my favorite even it's EDM. Vocal part is good by the way. I hope to see them in France (Europe), EDM is very appreciated there. Well, I love "Game of Drones".

バーボンハウスへようこそScenes in MV of many people enjoying city night life contrasted to daylight at abandoned industrial site with only one person (girl with banner) and three drones. The race must have been recorded and then broadcast later. The abandoned industrial site was also used in MV by a group called "Z" (I think). Anyone know the history of this place?

海外の人の一部が「物足りない」的コメントをしているけど、まあ、確かに「MORE! MORE! MORE!」や「JUMPER」みたいな構成の複雑な曲に比べれば物足りないかもしれないし、PVも真鍋さんがかかわってるからおそらくコンピュータ制御なんだろうけど、事情を知らない人からすれば「ドローン飛ばしてそれが何なの」的な反応になる恐れも無きにしも非ず。まあでも、歌を重んじるか、構成を重んじるかなんてその曲ごとのバランスだから、あんまり一曲ごとにカリカリなるのもいかがなものかと。クラシックの作曲家を追いかけてても同じことを感じる。同じ作曲家がある時は歌わせたいし、あるいは作りこみたい時だってあることだろう。

Yeah the live launch party stream from the houseboat was pretty cool with guests like DJ Kyoko, RAM RIDER and so on, a great way to end the Capsule Week on niconico. Would have been amazing alright if KPP and Perfume was there too, KPP showing up at something like that would be more likely to happen than Perfume though, Nakata is way closer to KPP than Perfume, Perfume and Nakata rarely hang out with each other outside of recording the albums and singles. Toshiko was definitely the life and soul of the party lol, she has such a fun loving and friendly personality :D

Caoimhin JPNLevel 3 As Seki got cheers from the viewers, I couldn't help but feel that Perfume were missing. It would have been more fun to watch if they were there. They'd ask Toshiko about Nakata and she'd reveal his odd behavior XD He and KPP belong to the same record label and management agency, and so they are very close. After all, it was him who changed her life and prodded her to become a singer. I know he does everything in music production, but I wish he would let Perfume get a little more involved. They could make even better songs, because the trio have magic of some kind that neither CAPSULE nor KPP has...

LakesideParkFC Yeah myself and I'd say most Capsule, Perfume fans would love to see Toshiko and Perfume being interviewed together and talking with each other, that would be mind - blowingly awesome :D. As you were saying they might get more insight into Nakata's personality, he'd be saying to himself "don't say too much to them" Toshiko lol, they'd have a good laugh. I see Toshiko as kind of like an older sister to Perfume and they're like her cute little younger sisters XD, it would be cool to hear if they hang out with each other sometimes. Yeah Nakata and Kyary have the same management, Asobisystem I think, and they both have a big interest in fashion so they also have that in common. He probably feels that he doesn't have as much in common with Perfume outside of the music but like you I wish he would let Perfume get more involved in the creative process. A-chan has wanted to contribute lyrics for their songs for years now but Nakata has never accepted her offer. On the other hand he asked Kyary if she wanted to write lyrics, she refused and he has A-chan offering to write lyrics but says no to her, it seems very unfair. Nakata has been producing for Perfume for way longer than Kyary but is a lot friendlier it seems with Kyary, I guess it partly could be because he was asked to produce for Perfume and offered to be Kyary's producer, it might be one of the reasons he treats both differently.

It really seems to me that Nakata wants to appeal to more foreigners and take a more Western approach to EDM, but what he forgets is that even from America to Ibiza, you get noticed for doing something DIFFERENT and being yourself. Having a unique style in electronic music is harder than following the crowd like he's been doing. Or maybe his work with KPP and Perfume takes up too much of his creativity?

Been listening to the album for a while now.. it's slowly growing on me! definitely not on par with pre-caps lock Capsule, but still not really terrible. This single is pretty good though, solid material here, by far the best of the record.
