We go to a huge church sale twice a year and get all my daughters clothes (and soon our second child as well). In the fall/winter one she gets black leggings and jeggings and in the summer mostly dresses and biker shorts with t-shirts. It's a great system

I’ve always bought for hot weather and cold weather. Also twice a year. Until u mentioned i didn’t realize not everyone does that. I do minimal wardrobe cause it’s easier for my mental health. Less to take care of. And the goal is everything gets worn and I get the use out of them. I too don’t wanna waste money.

I didn’t realize it wasn’t what everyone else did either until I mentioned it to someone😆 I think it’s thanks to our consumer economy, but most people I know just buy what they think is cute, whether the kids need it or not🤷🏻♀️ I agree with you, I think it’s a great goal to use what you have and not waste money (or clothes).

@@stephanie-algra I tried buying less from birth but still bought a bit too much or was gifted things. Overall I’ve had very few extras but even then feels too much and overwhelming. Idk how ppl have the money to spend one every cute thing 😆 I’d rather buy other things.
