The inspiration behind this video:
There has been no confirmation that Ford will be playing Red Hulk in Captain America: Brave New World, but the new set photo is a major tease that might be the direction the character is headed in. Marvel Studios would not recast Thunderbolt Ross after Hurt's death, especially with such a big name like Ford, if the studio did not have ambitious plans for the character's future in the MCU. Ross becoming the Red Hulk could be the possible end goal in play, as Ford - at 80 - could pivot to voice acting as the character in his Hulk form in the future.
It would make sense for Ford to play the Red Hulk in the MCU for a number of reasons. The first of those is that such a high-profile actor like Ford would not simply enter the MCU at a late stage of his career to just play a generic government person, as Ford has revealed the reason he was cast in the MCU was due to him wanting to do "something different to what [he has] ever done and pleasing people with it." Playing Red Hulk would certainly fit that description.
