that's so amazing :D life finds a way it's getting into winter and i'm not sure if i want to get some going. I'm always worried about our summer. it gets to 50oC and although we have air conditioning, I'm worried they'll overheat.

How cool! So we dont need to wait for the water to evaporate to refill and "activate" the dormant eggs? We can just freeze the old water and defrost it? 🤭😆 If any of my colonies die out and there's no activity for a while, I might try it because I'm too impatient to wait for the water to evaporate ha.
