What makes this so good is how visceral and realistic each of the moves look and feel, as well as how terrorizing they've made the Winter Soldier to this point and in this sequence: Nat getting thrown like a rag doll, running in fear, and then the gunshot taking her down and her looking everywhere in fear, only to have Winter Soldier pop up. They put you right in it the whole movie and this sequence in particular.

when I first saw this movie, I never knew that WS was Bucky. I just found this villain so cool and cold. Even the reveal gave me goosebumps. This movie hooked me up to the Marvel comics, and since that time I am still not over WS. He is a cool and stone cold assasin. I wish they had more characters like him.

Personally not reading the comics and the lore not knowing the WS was Bucky in theatres was a hell of a shock to 13 year old me😂💀. Was my version of the Vader is Luke’s father reveal to me.

As the later movies revealed. Bucky was still in there the whole time, just as the passenger. He was still conscious and had to watch everything the WS did. He was never in full control after hydra found him. Truly one of the best villains and victims.

To this day, i still think this is a top 5 possibly even top 3 MCU film. Had the best choreography and one of the best plots in the whole MCU. I actually preferred WS over CW. Funnily enough, 2014 was the best year for the MCU. With the delivery of WS and GOTG1. 2 movies that are incredible and not overstuffing with movies. Miss this format honestly. They chose quality over quantity back then. Now its just what can we put out so the fans can continously watch our shows and films😂 Thank god and 1 theatrical realease this year in D&W. But next year will be interesting. 3 movies. Cap4, thunderbolts and F4. Yes i know blade is also planned to release next year but with how things are going, will it? Lol
