To me, this song sounds like an extremely anxious, eyes fluttering back and forth, dog-sized flying insect describing what it sees while flying above the landscape of what is described in Dante's Inferno, which is where the rest of the musical madness, including what may be my personal absolute favorite part of any song ever-the guy screaming noises nonsensically in the background. The "backing vocals," if you will......I sincerely mean the following as a compliment-If demonic possession was a nonfictional thing and hell was an actual destination, this song would be Hell's dictionary definition in sonic form....Picture all that when listening to this. There's a lot behind this album release. I heard rumor the band played instruments in separate rooms, not hearing each other. Frank Zappa had a hand in this for any consolation. I'm going to say that it's a very "creative" effort, exploring the outer boundaries of musical possibilities at the time, and very bravely done. The infamous album by the band The Shaggs, "Philosophy of the World" came out a day earlier. Imagine the record that June day? The Shaggs had complete innocence in what they were doing, this album, quite the opposite.

@@Actiomedey It could be. This album has some Blues influences on it, and rapping is a primitive form of Blues. You should check Alan Lomax recordings on prison songs (if you have interest in that matter), though, rapping is way older than that. It is said it came from Africa, where Griots (14th Century), who could be described as praise singers, used to tell stories with accompainments. Naturally, it is way more melodic than this stuff... hahaha.
