some people made a headcanon that he was boxer. and when he was shot, it looked like it was only at the shoulder. so with the armor as well he could have survived, and lived to train in boxing, and become the 212th trooper that punched a droid in the background of revenge of the sith.

I don't think there is a phase 1 arc. in the battle of amino the clones were all phase 1 but the arc troopers were phase 2

That was mid war. There were indeed phase 1 ARCs- Bly himself was an ARC trooper. Those were the Kaminoan ARCs midway through the war, testing out that giant beasts (forgot its name) armor.

Mason McDonald before 2008 yes. Then in 2008 the new series became canon and replaced the 2003 series. George Lucas has stated many times before that a lot of the EU was never canon but a lot of it was as well.

4:34 see that eyebrow looking red paint on his helmet? It's like a mark of honor a captain can recieve after doing a lot of badass stuff, it's like a medal but in painted form. Frodo got it first, years later captain Rex got it second. This implies his badassery is acknowleged even by the higherups. A certified badass XD haha

Actually, one of the Jedi that was left for dead was actually still alive. K’Kruhk, the Whiphid Jedi, was struck down by Grievous but was not killed, instead healing a healing hibernation trance, later recovering and returning to the Republic (and even surviving Order 66).
