Hey Joe thanks for your live stream....yes, I would love the video training idea. I am also a big fan of Big jet .tv and love the challenges that pilots have while landing in all kinds of weather...I am not a pilot, only in my heart, I love watching the stabilizer to see how much planes react...I must say it must be a great experience to learn the coordination between hand-flying the plane, the reaction time between yoke and reaction time of the plane.

One of the things I would have asked is if you like Airbus or Boeing....I also wanna ask one more thing that are there any really accurate airplane simulator in Play Store.... Also I wanted to know how it was to become a pilot and I'm happy that it was asked by someone and it was answered.... Also I want to know where you get those models from because I've been searching for it in a lot of places.... Hope I'll meet you some day....

Never heard that Blackbird joke before :D Thought it would be this one: "I'll always remember a certain radio exchange that occurred one day as Walt (my backseater) and I were screaming across Southern California, 13 miles high. We were monitoring various radio transmissions from other aircraft as we entered Los Angeles airspace. Though they didn't really control us, they did monitor our movement across their scope. I heard a Cessna ask for a readout of its groundspeed." "90 knots" Center replied. "Moments later, a Twin Beech required the same." "120 knots," Center answered. "We weren't the only ones proud of our groundspeed that day as almost instantly an F-18 smugly transmitted, 'Ah, Center, Dusty 52 requests groundspeed readout.' "There was a slight pause, then the response, 525 knots on the ground, Dusty". "Another silent pause. As I was thinking to myself how ripe a situation this was, I heard a familiar click of a radio transmission coming from my backseater. It was at that precise moment I realized Walt and I had become a real crew, for we were both thinking in unison." "Center, Aspen 20, you got a groundspeed readout for us?" There was a longer than normal pause.... "Aspen, I show 1,742 knots" "No further inquiries were heard on that frequency"

Question: When an aircraft is going from one country to another, it passes over the airspace of many other countries where it is not scheduled to land. In such a case, does the air traffic control of those countries communicate with that aircraft ? If so, when and how ? What do they talk about ? Please explain in detail. Thanks. Big fan of yours.

That website seems to show the same info as Flightradar24. The location of the aircraft is based on real time flight tracking, so all these aircraft are in reality flying the route we can see on the map of the website. They are real flights in real time.

So, what did he say about Mentour? He started to answer the question about whether they were friends, then it skipped ahead.
@Hondalover30004 жыл бұрын
Would like to know about that too. What did Mentour do to him? In his first live stream he mentioned that Mentour was a good friend of his. I suspect for a long time now that that was never true. They have very different opinions, behavior and everything but Mentour was never afraid to answer that question as to what happened with the communication between him and Captain Joe.
@deeanna84484 жыл бұрын
@@Hondalover3000 yeah, I've heard Mentour talk about suddenly losing communication with Joe. But Mentour has also spoken very highly of Joe's videos. I don't think I've ever heard Joe recommend Mentour videos. It's weird. Definitely seems to be some tension there.
@Hondalover30004 жыл бұрын
@@deeanna8448 That is true he has never referred anyone to Mentour's videos. I believe that this thing between them started deteriorating after Mentour started talking about some airplane accidents with current investigations going on. I remember Captain Joe making a video almost like scolding Pilots that do that and I believe he was talking to Mentour Pilot. When Mentour's viewers related this to him he was actually surprised but took it very nicely and actually agreed that what have been doing was somewhat or is unprofessional. I think the way Mentour does his thing turns off Captain Joe but he does not want to say it. Nevertheless, I love watching both of their channels. Very informative and real. Please show the love Joe after all we are all human.
@MacPac784 жыл бұрын
@@Hondalover3000 Joe is much better. Mentour is too pro-Boeing-biased, he will never say anything bad about Boeing to protect himself (including about the 737Max debacle). Mentour also never talks about his employer (Ryanair). I like how Joe kind of takes his viewers behind the scenes of CargoLux. I can't watch Mentour anymore, he has no credibility IMHO. Blancolirio is awesome though. I would highly recommend you check him out if you haven't already.

Great video as always! Someone asked if you ever tried X-Plane. If you haven't already, I suggest you check out flightdeck2sim's channel here on KZbin. Flightdeck2sim is part of that project where he gives advice on how the systems and the aircraft in general should work and behave to be as close to the real aircraft as possible. Definitely check his channel out, I think you would enjoy it!

I have seen a few plane crash reenactments on youtube and it seems once the pilot calls mayday, atc wants to know fuel left, souls on board etc. The pilot always needs to waste time ascertaining souls on board. Wouldn’t it be good policy for the stewardess to let the pilot know prior to take off so he can scribble down so he has it if he needs it.
