Sometimes they use stuff like that, Akitaru Ōbi the captain of company 8 uses tools and in one fight I remember him pulling out a fire extinguisher

There does exist regular firefighters that use fire extinguishers, water cannons and fire trucks in the Fire Force universe, and they put out regular fires. The special Fire Force Companies are specifically comprised of people who execute infernals, and deal with infernal related fire-fighting. Plus, sometimes it's been demonstrated that Second-Generation pyrokinetics can put out fires faster than water.

Same. I ended up dropping it after finishing the first season because the characters and story just didn't intrigue me. Only reason I even finished season one is because of the amazing animation, particularly during some of the fight scenes.

@@vizzz8906 The fan service is the issue. For most shows, its ‘ignoreable’. Here, its not. It’s literally not possible to ignore the fan service as each time it happens, it takes like 1-2 minutes fo resolve, and it got especially annoying with that Fire Cat Girl. Her clothes just ‘magically came off’, so so so many times.
