Capt. Midnight was a superb television series,espcially for educating the younger generation to the modern inventions of the day! The acting was top notch for both thr star, Richard Webb & his associates, Sid Melton & Olan Soule', a veteran actor himself! Each show was like a "mini-movie" with nearly completely different plots! It's a shame that there are few if any shows like this on current television!

I saw these rebranded as Jet Jackson bout 1960. I had no idea they had originally run as captain midnight in the early to mid 1950s.

The jet/rocket was the latest thing in 1954, but by 1960 it was old hat. the combination of jet and rocket power didn't really take off.
