Mr36O This version of link is base off the one from the adventures of link game which take place years after the original zelda game. He older and a bit more mature so the tv version had to be mature too. Which is why he don't repeat that line anymore.

Man this is how I always envisioned the Zelda games along with their animated series. It's a shame Nintendo did not take Zelda games in this direction as far as their games went by the mid 90s. I can only imagine how great Zelda games would be today, they probably would be like Mass Effect in terms of graphics. I'd probably still be a fan of Zelda and not abandoned the series after Ocarina of Time.

It's very interesting to note that this episode came out during an attempt to re-launch the Zelda Cartoon, which is why it has most of the same voice cast. The new style it has is considerably improved over the old one, and the action's also a lot better - as well as following the story of Zelda 2 a lot closer. One wonders what could have happened had they succeeded at securing a re-launch.

i like this episode, mostly because I'm a huge Zelda fan, but there are some things i don't like, mainly that Ganon only had a one episode appearance and that design for Hyrule Castle, ugh, it looks like a sand crawler from Star Wars. other than that, it's a really good episode. on a side note, it was great to see Link being responsible for once, but still acting like he did back in the old Zelda cartoon.
