Cool, I've not seen this before. What I have watched is Stingray and Thunderbirds. That said I'll be adding this to my list. Thankyou for airing it. Elle Boston Massachusetts.

There is a fan theory that the Mysterons are actually sentient super-computers, and that's why they have no concept of forgiveness. But they're not perfect and can make mistakes, just like any sentient being. It's also a fan theory that Captain Scarlet wasn't actually dead when "Mystronised" and that's why Captain Scarlet has his own mind most of the time.

Just watched this blast from the past once again after decades of first seeing it. Gerry and Silvia Anderson was way, way ahead of his time! This series was highly entertaining and extremely creative for the era. Okay, the (NCP?) car park at the top of the super high tower is absolutely ridiculous by today’s standards but kudos to the sheer originality of the concept. The “Supermarionation” work is literally out of this world and still entirely watchable and entertaining today! Suffice to say I was deeply addicted to the various series they produced, including this one. As a modern day Nerd, GA’s series have deeply influenced my life as a whole; my career choices, lifestyle, the vehicles I have owned (and still drive) and even the clothes I wear to this very day! I’m living the Century 21 dream in my own way! I work with digital technologies and have always been interested in automobile and aerospace technologies too - I would have probably never developed an interest in these themes if it wasn’t for Gerry and Silvia Anderson who gave me such precise direction during my childhood. I consider my generation’s youth very lucky that we had very creative, highly advanced TV series like this to follow back in the 60’s and 70’s, TV productions (Like Thunderbirds, U F O, Space 1999 et al), that fired up our imaginations and greatly assisted us in developing into the well rounded people that most of us have become today!

I know the voice of Captain Scarlett is Gerry Anderson. But he actually sounds like famous Actor Cary Grant. He really does. Actually that's who I thought it was at first. Really. Lol

Actually it was Francis matthews who voiced captain scarlet. Gerry Anderson created it. Never voiced it.
