absolutely do not let the airlines allow only 1 pilot. they’re pushing for it hard

but it will make flights cheaper, so might be worth the risk. They could assign a random passenger that has the duty to check on the pilot from time to time, it should be a person that has prior experience with Microsoft Flight simulator.

I just respect Sully so much and I don't even know the man. He has a lot of ideas on how to improve the safety of our air traffic and Congress needs to listen as does the FAA. I am not a pilot yet I had been noticing all the different runway incurisions, planes striking walls or each other on the tarmac, loss of separation, and more. A lot in just February a long which is very disturbing. I think when trends start to go up there is extra pressure on the pilots. It's important for everyone to be doing all their checklists and inspections as well as to not miss anything. The problems that have been happening have been making me very nervous lately. They want to have so many flights leave an airport every hour and there is just constant heat on ATC along with not having enough ATC. So if we do have a major accident that deems to be ATC's fault, that controller will be hating the self, hated by others, and lose their job when we know they aren't getting the help they need depending on the airport.

I saw people removing their bags in an emergency. Getting your bags blocks people from getting off quickly, causes people to trip and fall and get trapped and engulfed in flames. If there is a fire in your house your first priority should be to get out. Flight Attendants tell you to leave everything for a reason. People need to listen to the Flight Attendants.

I've read that many air traffic controllers have started working from home. While airlines claim for this transition to be executed in a safe manner, many experts point out that unstable internet connection, reduced ability to drug test, lack of colleagues to advise in real time as a crisis unfolds, and a plain lack of visibility (e.g., a heart attack happening at home) have all contributed to an increase in incidents
