For anyone confused, Episode New Hero is a game mode apart from Story Mode. This game keeps looking better and better

Alfgart not sure how true this is to be honest. We don't know if story mode ends with MS arc and if hero mode is the one that goes into JY. Reason being in the beginning of the trailer Tsubasa is talking to the hero while wearing all Japan attire.

If so possible please create slots where you can create complete teams, various slots with 11+ players, no "New Hero mode", just to play with friends and learn new techniques and shots!

Example: when you win a match you can earn points that allow you to increase stats or unlock a type of shot ... In any case I like this mode!

​@@FrancescoDStrength Part of the fun for me is to be able to play as teams other than Nankatsu and to see how unique they each will be with their own strengths, and weaknesses. I don't really see the fun or need to create your own custom team because a lot of the techniques they will have will be taken from existing players so having two custom teams fighting each other will look similar and predictable. I'm sure there will be ways to make it fun, but I would prefer if they focus their resources on other things, like being able to play the other arcs of the manga. Nankatsu and Toho are the two strongest teams, so trying to win the middle school championship with weaker teams like Furano and Musashi sound a lot more exciting to me. If only they had new hero mode for other teams like Azuma-ichi or Otomo I would be even more interested but that would require more resources to flesh out other teams that they played in the manga. I want a Captain Tsubasa game, but you want a generic anime game that you can customize on your own. I'm too interested in the source material that I see no need in trying to appease people who have no interest in it and just want to customize stuff. A lot of people are putting their eggs in the basket for multiplayer, but what I'm looking forward to is a solid memorable single-player experience with the story mode. I've already played other Captain Tsubasa games that cover the same arc, but I wonder if this one can make it even more engaging, where you don't have to know the source material to get invested. I like multiplayer but I don't care much about it because Captain Tsubasa games in the past were always primarily single-player RPGs and some of them are still considered classics like Captain Tsubasa 2 Super Striker for the Famicom. That's the IP's strength.

What I get from this trailer alone is that you can choose between three schools/teams to play in. Each school/team seems to specializes in certain fields: 1. Musashi - Strength in defense 2. Furano - Strength in middlefield/balanced 3. Toho - Strength in offense I wonder if my choice of school will set the position/role of my hero character hm

Musashi only opts for defense in the 1st half against strong teams, my friend. Once Misugi enters the field in the 2nd half, they become an excellently well-balanced team with their Captain at the core. ;)

I hope they 'll make the multiplayer good and competitive with a proper ranking and match making. I also hope will be able to create our own team with a certain amount of point to spend and each players having different cost based on how good they are. Best way to balance the game.

Spider-cos y sus frikadas Matsuyama is strong in teamwork but when you talk of genius sense and talent, Misugi is the only guy who can match Tsubasa. Too bad he is too restricted due to his heart disease.

Guys, how is this game any different from the Captain Tsubasa game released for the PS2 from a team perspective? While I do appreciate remakes and improvements, when are you going to include teams and players from Captain Tsubasa J World Youth? I can't even remember the last time I was able to use cool teams like Street team, Holland youth and RJ7 etc... Like honestly I don't miss the school teams you have now at all because they keep coming back in almost every game. Even if they are not available, usually the important players from these school teams and included in the main Japan national team. I hope you can bring back all the cool world youth teams with great special players and shots.
