I think the nerf sling fire is my favorite over all blaster of all time. The reason for which is that it is a sentimental reason so when the sling fire first came out my grandfather bought it for me for Christmas and one of his very many passions was playing with nerf blasters. And he had this big huge nerf collection of like 80 blasters which we would have fights with them all the time. So almost one year ago the doctor found out that he had cancer. And the last nerf war we had before he passed was with the sling fire so that is why it is my favorite blaster because one of my last memories of him was him tagging me out with my sling fire and that is why I love it so much because I love him.

On my stock Slingfire, I put some metal tubing into the barrel, and it actually increased accuracy and power by some degree. It was even noticeable!

I must advise getting metal gears for the sling fire. Even when stock it only takes 1 to 2 wars before the gears are worn down to a point where the gun is barely usable

Very nice! Someone on etsy sells an upgraded priming handle, have you seen that? If I ever thrift a slingfire I'd like to attempt a brass breech and spring upgrade, that would be a really fun superstock primary.

I don't get why the missprays were an issue. I would have worked them into the guns back story as residue from a corrosive fluid that got sprayed in those spots while the weapon was in use on a mission.

Wanted to double check as the Worker Brand barrel kit for the slingfire is not the same it is much shorter. Hope you might be able to enlighten me on where the barrel kit might have come from? I've actually had some luck with the Buzz Bee Double Shot. If you fix in the shells and run brass though them, it works quite nice.

The barrel under the top barrel is called a mag tube, it holds all the ammunition you put into the gun. But the gun doesn’t makes sense because it has a magazine and a mag tube. Still looks good regardless 👍

Need this for my fallout cosplay. I'm just using the tube from a longshot's barrel attachment and that works for a pinch, but this gives a more realistic look to the rifle that I would love to get my hands on.

I will buy the kit, ditch the priming lever and cut a groove in the shell for a home made mettle priming bar (no lever action) and add the strongest spring it can take (the barrel is for accuracy to balance out the power, for more accuracy) and shoot accufakes for additional accuracy. paint blue and orange to bring in public. add a 3x cheap scope, a real sniper rifel

so the little lock up may be the screw on the prime housing oiece for the lever, but thats just my thought. it also could be the same problem i had, when priming the gun. i had to find a way to replace some of the gear bits that pull the spring and the little orange piece that grinds on the lever itself. again that was my thought and my problem with the gun.
